Dear Friends of the Bennington Theater,

In the last few months, we have introduced exciting artistic programs at the newly renamed Bennington Theater. We’ve had Emmy-winning actors perform in plays, Grammy-nominated musicians on stage, and famous comedians from New York and Los Angeles grace our venue. We’ve also created our own plays, introduced new local productions like Trivia Live, Wine and Improv, the Benningtones Pop-Up Singing Choir, The Plays in Progress Readings, and some amazing Cabarets.

The artists have played to sold-out audiences. People are coming to the theater for the first time, never having been to a theater, or even to Bennington. It’s not just locals either; our performances have drawn audiences from northern Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, and beyond.

Excitement is growing as we bring in performers from around the country and the world, offering unique experiences for our audiences. On our upcoming schedule are Children’s Programs, music performances in genres ranging from Classical to Country, Bluegrass to International, Pop to Classic Rock, and more. We will also feature terrific theater and musicals, introduce a film series, and generate more self-produced events that encourage participation. The future looks bright for our little theater on Main Street.

On April 12, we are bringing in a British troupe performing “Beauty and the Beast.” Don’t miss the chance to take your child or grandchild to this spectacular show. It’s coming here to Bennington, not Albany or Boston. Let’s introduce our children to live performances featuring their favorite characters.

I also invite you to save the date of April 16 for a season kickoff fundraiser event at the theater. Together, we will learn about the upcoming season and witness a performance by one of the most amazing mentalist entertainers in the world. It’s a special event you won’t want to miss. Look out for invitations in your email. Take advantage of what we are bringing to Bennington.

Feel free to write or call me anytime at KevinCarlon@BenningtonTheater.org or (802) 500-5500.

See you at the show!

Kevin
