Taconic Chamber Players—An Afternoon in Vienna

On Sunday, October 18 at 2 pm, Bennington Performing Arts Center—The Home of Oldcastle Theatre Company presents An Afternoon in Vienna with the Taconic Chamber Players. The ensemble has a broad repertoire of Baroque, Classical, Romantic and contemporary works, including pop, rock and jazz arrangements, and performs in venues ranging from private homes to concert halls, in traditional and non-traditional spaces.

The Taconic Chamber Players are Joana Genova and Heather Braun, violins; Ariel Rudiakov, viola; and Nathaniel Parke, cello. They will perform Haydn’s String Quartet in E-Flat Major, Op.33, No. 2 “The Joke”; Mozart’s Divertimento in F Major, K.138; and concluding with Beethoven’s String Quartet in F Major, Op.18, No. 1, in honor of his 250th birthday.

The afternoon of classical music is a fundraiser for BPAC and we’re having a 50/50 Raffle in conjunction with this event! Tickets are $25 each and you will receive one 50/50 raffle ticket with each ticket purchased. Additional 50/50 raffle tickets are $5 each or six for $25.
