Love them or hate them…they’re your family. Storytellers, dancers, writers, musicians and artists share their hilarious, twisted and ultimately relatable familial skeletons in their own unique way. During the show we pass a bucket to raise money for a local organization that helps our community “family.” All proceeds from this performance benefits Bennington Performing Arts Center. An amazing night that brings people together and leaves audience talking about their own crazy families. Please note that the show is for adults ages 16 and up. Not suitable for children.
About Family Affair:
Family Affair ran monthly in Seattle, Washington from 2013–2016. We had our last Seattle show on December 2016. During the show a bucket was passed for an artist in the community who had hit a rough patch. Over 44 shows in Seattle, Family Affair raised nearly $8,000 for 27 artists. We had 115 artists perform from a variety of disciplines—many graced our stage more than once. In January, 2019 we introduced Family Affair to the Bennington community where it’s been received with great enthusiasm.
